Covid-19

All of us here at Riverview care about the health of our staff, professionals, patients and our community. Therefore, we are responding to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) by implementing the CDC recommended guidelines. We are performing surgery in a safe and efficient environment and will continue to be dedicated to your surgical needs. We currently will be doing only those surgeries that are emergent/urgent. Truly elective surgeries will be postponed in accordance with state and federal recommendations and mandates.
If you have a surgery scheduled with us and are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, cough, and shortness of breath, please call us at 402-412-2160.

We do NOT have the ability to test for COVID-19 at our facility. If you are showing signs or symptoms, please stay home and call a primary care provider.

We are NOT performing surgical procedures on any patient testing positive for COVID-19

1. Patients who have traveled will not be scheduled for a surgical procedure until they have self-isolated at home for 3 weeks and have been asymptomatic.

2. Patients who have had symptoms must be asymptomatic for at least 21 days from last symptomatic day before being scheduled. Your surgeon will do a telehealth visit the day before surgery to determine patient status.

3. All patients will be asked to temp themselves the morning of surgery.

4. Staff will temp all patients on arrival.

5. No children to accompany patients.

6. All drivers will be screened the same as the surgical patients.
